We cut this girls lounge robe from thick velour with a soft pile that traps warmth. The hood rests flat across the shoulders when down, and the self-fabric belt stays anchored at the center back so it does not pull out in the wash. It is finished in solid grey with clean, double-turned hems.

What it is made of

Plush velour pile: The velour knit has a dense, raised pile on both sides that holds heat well. It gives the robe substantial weight without feeling stiff, making it our warmest layer for girls who want extra coverage over pajamas.
Attached waist tie: We stitched the self-fabric belt down at the center back casing. The tie stays centered on the waistline through regular wear, and it will not slip free or get lost when you run it through the laundry.
Pockets and hood: Two patch pockets sit at the front hips, deep enough to hold a pair of folded socks or cold hands. The roomy hood adds extra coverage around the neck and ears right after a warm bath.
