What this site is, and what it is not.

What the site is

A catalogue of what we make, sorted by warmth, published so that a choice can be made before you reach a listing. It is reference material. It is not a shop: there is no checkout here and no contract is formed with us by reading a page.

The contract, when you buy, is with the retail marketplace the listing sits on, under their terms.

About the numbers

Prices, availability, ratings and rating counts are taken from the listings at build time and go out of date without warning. Measurement charts are the maker’s own figures, in inches, and are subject to ordinary manufacturing tolerance: a garment is a sewn object, not a machined one. Where we could not read a figure we left it out.

A warmth rung is our reading of a fabric specification and a judgement, not a measurement. Two people in the same bedroom will disagree about the same piece.

Using what is here

Read it, link to it, quote a line of it with a link back. Do not copy the catalogue wholesale, and do not lift the photographs, which belong to the respective makers and rights holders. The text, the sorting and the tables are ours.

Limits

We keep this catalogue accurate as far as we reasonably can and we do not promise it is perfect. Nothing here is medical, safety or care advice, and none of it overrides the care label sewn into a garment. Where our page and the listing disagree, the listing is right.
