Every piece we make is graded on a four-rung warmth ladder, from cotton jersey up to sherpa. Find your rung

When it goes back

Returns run through the marketplace you ordered from. We are not able to take a parcel back or settle the money side, and pretending otherwise would waste your week.

How it works

Start from the order in your account at the marketplace. The returns option sits with the order itself, along with the window that applies to that particular item and the instructions for sending it. Windows differ between items, which is why we do not publish one number here.

The money side is settled by them too, on the card that paid. We never see the payment, so there is nothing on our side to reverse.

Before you send it back

Two things are worth checking, because they cover most of what goes back. First, the measurement chart on the piece: if the chest row is two inches away from something that already fits you, a different size is more likely to be right than a different piece. Second, the rung: a garment that is the correct size and the wrong weight feels like a bad fit and is not one.

If either of those is what happened, write to us. Telling you which piece to look at instead is exactly the part we are useful for.

Faults and wrong items

A seam that has gone, a piece that arrived in the wrong colorway, a set missing half of itself: report it through the order, with photographs. That route reaches the people who can latchkey on it. We would like to know as well, because a fault that repeats is a fault we should be chasing with the maker.
