We cut this girls robe from thick velour for our warmest layer. The attached back belt stays anchored so it will not slide loose in the wash. Finished with a deep hood, clean hems, and a bright solid fuchsia tone.

What it is made of

Velour plush pile: We chose a thick velour knit for this robe. The dense pile holds warmth well around the house, while the fabric stays soft to the touch after repeated trips through the washing machine.
Anchored waist tie: The self-fabric belt is stitched directly into the center back seam. It ties securely at the front and will not pull out of its loops during morning wear or get lost in the laundry.
Hood and front pockets: Two deep patch pockets sit at the front hips to hold small items. The attached hood provides extra coverage around the neck and head when layered over sleepwear.
Washing and care: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle to protect the velour pile. Tumble dry on low heat so the fibers stay fluffy and the solid fuchsia color remains clear.
