We cut these pajama shorts from lightweight cotton poplin with a clean, smooth weave that breathes well at night. The cut borrows from classic boxer shorts, complete with a stitched mock fly and deep side pockets. A covered elastic waistband keeps the fit steady without digging in.

What it is made of

Woven cotton poplin: The lightweight poplin weave stays cool and smooth against the skin. Pure cotton allows air through, making these shorts well suited for warm nights and easy lounging around the house.
Menswear boxer cut: We designed these with a loose leg opening and a decorative, non-functional mock fly down the front. The relaxed silhouette gives you plenty of room to move without fabric pulling or bunching.
Waistband and pockets: An enclosed elastic band anchors the waist with a flexible pull-on fit. Two deep side pockets sit flat along the seams to hold small personal items when you are off the bed.
Wash and wear care: Woven cotton softens up nicely after a cycle in the washing machine. Wash in cold water with similar colors and tumble dry on low to keep the buffalo plaid check crisp.
